Unnecessary waste of money
GoPro should be ashamed of themselves for this worthless app. The free GoPro app controls the session and allows you to monitor just fine. This one does not connect to the camera easily, and is very buggy. Save your money. I am out $15 for nothing and do not know how to get my money back.

GoPro Controls Nothing
This isnt worth the price. I made a mistake in purchasing this. It gives you the remote view and you can start/stop the camera but that is all you can do.
